In the USA any "DOT" registered shop can perform the annual
inspection of FRP tank trailers.
Does my Comptank trailer have
to be returned to factory for repairs ... ?
Comptank trailers usually do not have to be returned to the
factory for repairs. Under our direction competent fiberglass repairs
shops can affect tank repairs in most circumstances. Proprietary parts
would be supplied to your repairer.
What if a product we want to
transport is not listed in the corrosion guide... ?
Comptank or your dispatchers can check with the resin manufacturer
for a corrosion resistance determination.
